“Official Selection” Adventure Film Festival
Swift.Silent.Deep is proud to be an “Official Selection” of the Adventure Film Festival. Our film plays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the B-Side Theater in Boulder, CO this Saturday November 14. This festival, started by legendary climber Jonny Copp, started five years ago. Here is a short description of the history of this festival, as taken from their website:
“Adventure Film started as a dream in the heart of the Himalayas. In a tent during a storm, on a handful of scratch paper, Jonny Copp sketched out the initial vision of a community based, mission oriented, outdoor adventure festival that tied indie film with art and activism. Joined by long time friend and producer Mark Reiner, the ideas grew and the festival began. Five years later with the help of Jose Yavari, Mick Follari, Ben Alexandra and many others, this gritty “down home” event has grown into an internationally recognized arena for the best and most inspiring adventure and environmental films of each year, those productions that hit at the nerve endings of the physical, the emotional and the political. At year five the Adventure Film Festival has become AdventureFilm.Org, committed to the community of filmmakers, adventurers, activists and artists that present potent inspiration to a world that needs it.”
So Cool. We’re pumped! Get your tickets here. See you there.
